The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office is a full service department serving the people of Greenbrier County with 24/7 coverage having locations at 318 Randolph Street N. Lewisburg and 605 Nicholas Street Rupert.
The 30 member Department provides multiple services including but not limited to:
- Criminal Investigation
- Traffic Enforcement
- Accident Investigation
- Service of Civil Process
- Courthouse Security
- Custodial Transportation of Subjects throughout the state
The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office has specially trained officers in Forensic Interviewing, Canine Handling, Crime Scene Processing, Polygraph Testing, Drug Recognition, Accident Reconstruction and Special Weapons and Tactics.
The Greenbrier County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force was reinstated in 2013 and remains vigilant and dedicated to drug enforcement in both the state and federal arenas.
